In very rare instances it can happen that your client has made a mistake with your amount to receive, or has forgotten to add a service to your payment. If you suspect that a mistake has been made, don't accept the payment until you have double-checked it with your client. It is important that you contact your client about this, as Gigapay only receives the details of your payment and is unable to change it without your client's initiative. If a mistake did in fact happen, then the client will be able to create a new payment for you to receive.

Keep in mind that Gigpay in most cases does deduct a fee for the following payment options:

  • For Individuals: Our service allows you to receive money without creating a company. As we handle the financial reporting for you the fee for our service is up to 4% (depending on your clients).

  • For companies using automated invoices: We have built a self-billing solution that allows you to receive payment free of mind. For this service, we have a fee up to 2% (depending on your clients).

  • When you choose to accept a payment with our Early Payment service, this constitutes a credit on the invoice and there is a fee for this service.

When there is a currency conversion on the payment we process the payment via Wise banking service. Wise is used for any other currency than SEK. This service carries a small fee at conversion.

Please note that the amount you see during a currency conversion is an estimated amount that includes the fee. The real amount will be done during the transaction and might differ slightly.

However, our service is always free if you choose to send us your own invoice through the alternative manual invoicing.

If the amount that you are receiving is higher than what you expected. then you can also contact Gigapay in order for us to cancel this payment and make a new one.
